Flight Examiner according to Part FCL Training Course
Course content
The training starts with the basic material: the Chicago Convention and Annex 1 to this Convention, still being the basic of international regulations. The EU regulatory system is then explained, as well as the Basic Regulation as far as applicable for flight examiners and licensing. This part includes details about subjects like third countries, oversight by EASA, language proficiency as well as the use of flight simulator training devices.
General rules for examiners are explained, including specific requirements for the TRE, CRE, SFE and FIE. For each type of license, for the IR, for class and type ratings and two additional ratings the requirements are explained.
At the end of the training delegates are informed of data protection, insurance and liability.
Course prerequisites
Participants should have or have held a flight crew license.
