Course content

• Rulemaking Processes, Roles of the Licensing Sectorial Team and CJAA Licensing Division, and the development of JAR-FCL and Joint Implementation Procedures
• Selective lessons and discussion on the content of the major requirements of JAR-FCL:

- Licences
- Training Organisation Approvals
- Practical and Theoretical Knowledge Training Courses
- Type and Class Ratings
- Interface with JAR-OPS
- Instructors and Examiners
- Examinations
- Transition from National system to JAR system
- Helicopter differences
- Overview of Medical Requirements
- Overview of Flight Engineers
- Principle and Methodology of Standardisation
• Future developments in the Licensing Field
Course prerequisites
Demonstration of involvement in Licensing/Operational activities as specified from the target group.
