Course content
Most regulations require an effective Management System and compliance monitoring process under the supervision of a Compliance Monitoring Manager that provides adequate feedback to the Accountable Manager. As such, this course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of quality management as an integral part of a regulatory-required Management System together with a compliance monitoring programme to facilitate a fully effective process supporting the achievement of regulatory, operational and business objectives.
The course is highly participative and promotes 'best practice' process management and auditing approaches.

- Fundamental principles of auditing and Audit Management
- Relative responsibilities of those managing and undertaking audits together with those subject to auditing activity who will need to consider and implement effective corrective action
- Auditor competency and development
- Effective correction, corrective action, audit follow up and close-out mechanisms
- The role of the Accountable Manager in steering the audit process and ensuring adequate response to audit findings

Course prerequisites
A background in an aviation operations regulatory environment. No previous experience of quality management and auditing is necessary.
Participants are kindly requested to bring a laptop to the course to access course material which will only be provided in electronic format.
